If you love planes and you have kids, then you must visit The Proud Bird near LAX. Their Airplane Park is located out back adjacent to their outdoor dining. Which means, you and your spouse can relax and enjoy a meal while your kids play and explore the park.
Airplane Park features 16 remodeled life-size fighter planes and a children’s turf area with a great little playground. The kids will love paying while watching jets landing at LAX.
Parking is really convenient (in a huge lot), plus there are nearby pay lots to leave cars more long-term and catch a rideshare to the terminal.
Inside, the food court is a small aviation museum. Guests are greeted by a suspended P-40 Flying Tiger replica and aircraft memorabilia – a nod to David C. Tallichet Jr.’s and all veterans’ service during the Second World War. Communal tables, lounge seating, and the sleek Mile High Club bar and lounge surrounds the open kitchen area and provides elevated food and beverage experiences.
Whether you’re picking up a friend at LAX, or flying off for work, The Proud Bird Airplane Park is an adventure you do not not to miss.
