Sydney Ranee’ is a powerhouse singer, songwriter and producer with a stage presence you won’t forget. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Sydney’s dynamic voice has drawn in fans everywhere from Australia, Italy, Greece and Singapore to name a few. She began performing at the age 10 and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Music from Cornish College for the Arts. Sydney doesn’t recognize any boundaries in her music, which is primarily R&B/Soul yet contains elements of jazz, funk, rock and pop. The broad appeal of her music enabled her song “Difference” to be featured in an episode of 911: Lone-star.
It also allowed her to be a featured performer on the ‘Daytime Emmys’ in 2020 and 2021 and earned her coverage in music publications like Impose Magazine, Examiner, and AXS. In 2015, she ventured into the world of music production. Since then she has released multiple projects that she wrote, produced and recorded .

The Rhythm Room LA name was inspired by a turn of the century underground Jazz speakeasy located in what is still today, the heart of DTLA. A true gem, Rhythm Room provided an intimate, private and warm social space where patrons enjoyed live music, stiff drinks, and the occasional ballroom dancing.
The revival of Rhythm Room at the Hotel Hayward channels the same spirit from the 1940’s, simply a great local joint with live music and activities, where friends can congregate, laugh, and catch up over light bites and a drink or two.
RRLA is about providing a social space centered around fun engaging social activities such as games, night life, and live music. We aim to keep things simple and basic, focusing on quality, with each product executed with full intent.
Our mission is simply to provide our patrons exceptional experience through quality products, services, and a unique ambiance unlike any other bar in Downtown Los Angeles.

Conveniently located in the center of the Historic Core between 6th & Spring St., Rhythm Room LA is a 5 minute walk from Pershing Square, with over 4 bus lines including DASH that drop off at our front door. Additionally, it’s an easily accessible & searchable address by Uber & Lyft car services.
If driving is your thing, there are over 5 parking lots & structure within a block radius and metered street parking available.
As for the speakeasy entrance, look for the big wooden door underneath 2 gooseneck lamps next to the hotel entrance.
