Join us for an unforgettable evening filled with live performances, electrifying rhythms, and a vibrant atmosphere that celebrates the artistry of jazz like never before.

A 20-year veteran across the worlds of jazz and club music, Mark de Clive-Lowe returns to Grand Performances with an intoxicating blend of his favorite flavors. If you’ve ever experienced his epic CHURCH parties, you know what to expect – a summer cocktail of lush instrumentation, soulful improvisation, and hip-moving beats with a full roster of collaborators joining the maestro for an evening of Jazz in the House.

Electronic jazz pioneer and pianist Mark de Clive-Lowe blends acoustic, electronic and world music exploring themes of belonging and identity. Equal parts jazz, house, hip hop and broken beat artist, Jazziz sums him up perfectly, “Way before jazz hybridity became a worldwide phenomenon, de Clive-Lowe was busy designing its blueprint.”

Mark lives in Los Angeles, is the Founding Artist in Residence for La Ceiba Festival, a recipient of the 2021 U.S.-Japan Creative Artists Fellowship, and an active curator, educator, and speaker.
