Alice’s Dog Park is open six days a week from dawn to dusk and closed on Tuesdays. Alice’s Dog Park at Vina Vieja Park offers 2.5 acres of herbicide free grassland for large pets, and 1 acre grassy off-leash play space for small dogs. Owners will appreciate that there are water stations (for people and dogs), poop bag dispensers, benches, separate areas for small and large dogs, and 52 parking spots. Use of the park is not restricted to Pasadena residents though all dogs must have a current license and be current with their vaccines. The park features; Hilly park protected by a double fence, and picnic tables and isolated shade.

The Arts District Dog Park is a small 6,000 square feet, private, non-profit dog park and is open daily from 5:00 am to 11:00 pm. You’ll find a dog water fountain, a separate area for small dogs, shade trees, and benches. The ground cover is made up of a decomposed granite surface. Visiting dogs must be at least four months old and up-to-date with licenses and vaccines.

The Beverly Hills Community Dog Park includes off-leash areas for small and large dogs.

The dog park is open daily from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. for registered Beverly Hills residents, people who work in Beverly Hills, hotel guests, and residents’ guests. Park Rangers will check for dog tag permits.
Owners of dogs must be 14 years or older or accompanied by an adult if under 14 years of age.

You’ll find Bluff Creek Dog Park in the Playa Vista neighborhood of Los Angeles. The park is open seven days a week (opening at 7:00 am Monday through Friday, 8:00 am on Saturday and Sunday, and closing at dusk). Bluff Creek is the only dog park in Playa Vista that offers “pet turf” in contrast to the wood chips you’ll find at other parks. You’ll also find “rolling hills” and a central stream.
The Boneyard

The Boneyard is open each day from sunrise until 10:00 pm. This off-leash dog park is located within a large park and features a small and large dog park area, benches, trees, and water fountains in just over a little more than an acre. Decomposed granite is used as ground cover. And don’t forget, dogs must be licensed, vaccinated, and over the age of four months. Located at the Culver City Park, this 1-acre off-leash park has ample parking, water fountains and is open until 10 p.m. daily with lights over play area.

Lincoln Park at Broadway and Pacific is now home to the Downtown Dog Park. The park opened in September and has been serving the needs of downtown residents and their dogs and re-energizing a historic open space in our downtown civic center. The park has spaces for both large and small dogs, benches for owners, free doggie waste bags and double entrance and exit gates.

The Griffith Park Dog Park is open daily from sunrise to sunset, although it does close each Tuesday from 6:00 am to 10:00 am for maintenance. This 1.6-acre dog park tends to be most popular with families “in the know” and so doesn’t tend to get as crowded as other parks. You’ll find separate fenced-off areas for small and large dogs, shaded sitting areas, and picnic tables. No grass here, which can make clean-up easier. A visit to Griffith Park Dog Park can also be included into a whole day spent in Griffith Park and its many family-friendly attractions!

This huge park in the middle of the city has a small, but gated off-leash dog area. There are plenty of benches, and it’s clean and well-lit at night. The dog area is nearest to Spring Street facing City Hall. Grand Park’s dog run features shade, benches, doggie bags and a water fountain for your four-footed friends!

The Hermon Dog Park, in Arroyo Seco, is open each day from sunrise to sunset. Families will find two fenced areas — one for large dogs and one for small/elderly/disabled dogs. Families will also appreciate the many trees, benches, and water dispensers for the dogs. The surface is made up of decomposed granite which means it’s mud free and makes for an easier clean up. The site also hosts family-friendly and dog-friendly events on a regular basis. The park is open daily from dawn until dusk.

Lake Hollywood Park is a dog-friendly though dogs must remain on leashes. The park is open seven days a week from sunrise to sunset. Considered by many to be the best dog park in LA. The park boasts Great view of the Hollywood sign, tots of parking, and a large, grassy play area. Be aware that this park is not an off-leash park—a $100 fine if caught. Lake Hollywood Park also features a children’s play area, picnic tables, barbecue pits, and an incredible view of the Hollywood sign.
L.A. Live Way, Los Angeles, CA 90015
A cute dog park with wood chips and plenty of plants. Has a small dog and big dog section all have bags for cleaning up. Easily missed because it’s right next to the on ramp of the highway.

The Laurel Canyon Dog Park is open daily from sunrise to sunset. (Closed Fridays 6:00 am to 11:00 am for regular maintenance). The park features views of the surrounding area. The park has a smaller area for smaller dogs, and a larger area for larger dogs. The park is made up of three acres and also includes a separate children’s playground though not a lot of shade. Watch for rattlesnakes and coyotes at dawn and dusk.

Families can visit the Oberrieder Dog Park from 7:00 am to dusk each day. While this isn’t a very large dog park, it is still quite popular. You’ll find fountains, some agility equipment, benches, and shade. The grounds are made up of bark/wood chips not grass, and parking is plentiful (and free).
