Grand Park 4th of July Block Party

Downtown: LA Drone Show- Gloria Molina Grand Park 

Reinventing Downtown L.A.’s largest free Fourth of July celebration. For the first time in the park’s 10-year history, an incredible drone show—not traditional fireworks—will light up the night sky.

L.A.’s ultimate July 4th neighborhood party will be spread across the six city blocks that comprise Gloria Molina Grand Park. Attendees are welcome to bring a picnic or enjoy a variety of delectable food and snack options for purchase from L.A.’s favorite gourmet food trucks, including tacos, barbecue, burgers, vegan, desserts and more. Alcohol is not permitted in the park and will not be sold at the event.

Culver City: 4th of July Celebration West LA College

Fire Works Begin at: Dust The show lasts 20 minutes

Don’t miss the Independence Day Fireworks Show at West Los Angeles College produced by the Culver City Exchange Club. Fireworks, food trucks, live music, prizes and lots of family fun!  Funds raised go to local youth-focused charities.

Admission:  $10 per person; children age 0-4 years are FREE!

Parking: $20 per car.

Time: Doors open at 3:30pm.  Fireworks at dusk.

How to Access Campus: Pedestrians enter the campus from Overland at 9000 Overland Avenue. Vehicles enter campus at 10100 Jefferson Blvd, Culver City 90230. The Culver City Bus will provide a shuttle from the Culver City Westfield Mall and the Culver City Expo line station to the campus.

Not Permitted: Alcohol or Dogs are not permitted on the college grounds.

Angels Point

The hidden gem of Angel’s Point is located in Elysian Park and overlooks Dodger Stadium, along with DTLA, Hollywood and Santa Monica. You can turn your head whichever way you want and you will see sparks fly! It’s definitely one of the best places to watch fireworks on New Year’s Eve in LA.

Imagine it – an evening on Big Bear Lake, floating on the water and watching spectacular fireworks explode overhead. Or, maybe you’re seeing it from a beautiful vantage point you hiked to on the trails. Wherever you are, the 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular is truly a sight to behold!

The Fireworks Spectacular explodes over Big Bear Lake every July 4th and is FREE to spectators. Local radio station KBHR airs a musical accompaniment to the show on 93.3 FM and 102.5 FM.

The City of Camarillo is hosting its 2023 Independence Day Fireworks Show on Tuesday, July 4th at 9pm. This year again, the fireworks show will be hosted from the Camarillo Premium Outlet parking lots, and the best way to view the fireworks is to park and watch with family and friends.

This year’s show is entirely aerial. Viewers will be able to see the show from any of the Outlet Mall parking lots looking towards the direction of the ocean.

The 18-minute firework display begins promptly at 9:00 p.m. Parking is first come, first served. Parking spaces cannot be reserved, so please arrive early for best selection. No entry after 8:45 p.m. when road closures go into effect. Fireworks will also be visible from the surrounding areas, so we encourage you to find a safe location to observe the show. Admission is FREE; no ticket is needed. No additional activities are planned.

Listen to the fireworks soundtrack wherever you are watching by tuning your car radio to 95.1 KBBY. This is a smoke-free event. No alcohol or cannabis allowed. For your pet’s safety, no pets are allowed. Personal fireworks are prohibited at the event and illegal throughout the city.

Avalon Fireworks Harbor Cruise / 8:30 pm

Enjoy Catalina’s historic fireworks show from Avalon Bay. Board the Cyclone power boat and head out on the water for a unique perspective of Catalina’s historic 4th of July fireworks celebration. You’ll be right in the middle of the action, as the rocket’s red glare and bombs bursting in air light up the nighttime skies over Avalon Bay. Buy tickets online.

Grab a chair or blanket and set up a spot on one of Avalon’s main beaches or just watch from your boat, hotel, vacation rental or favorite downtown spot.

Location: Starts at the corner of 10th street and “D” Street, travels south to Bonita Avenue, west on Bonita Avenue to Magnolia, south on Magnolia to Third Street, east on Third Street to “G” Street, north on “G” Street to Bonita Avenue, west on Bonita Avenue to “F” Street, North on “F” Street to 8th Street, west on 8th Street to “D” Street and north on “D” Street. Please note, the City of La Verne limits the placement of chairs, tents, blankets, or other items to reserve areas on the parade route to only 24 hours in advance.

  • The street closures begin at 9:30 AM.
  • The pre-parade Harley ride will begin at 9:40 AM.
  • The rest of the 4th of July Parade will follow at 10:00 AM.

Enjoy a safe parade! In a hometown parade, many spectators are likely to know the people participating in the parade. In all the excitement of the day, some spectators may feel the desire to run into the street to pick up candy or to greet a friend/neighbor who is in the parade. Please help keep our parade safe by remaining in the spectator areas and not walking or running into the route during the parade.  We appreciate your cooperation and look forward to enjoying a safe 4th of July in La Verne!

The chamber is excited to present this event on Monday, July 4th at 11 AM down Loyola Blvd. from Westchester Park to LMU. Our 2022 parade theme is “Yours for a Better Community: Celebrating the Best of America,” in honor of Howard Drollinger’s 100th birthday. Howard was an entrepreneur and philanthropist, who would sign all of his letters with “Yours for a Better Westchester.” He was also one of the chamber’s founders, as well as a past chairman. His legacy continues in the LAX Coastal area through his daughter, Karen Dial, who is President of Drollinger Properties and the Drollinger Charitable Foundation. Karen will serve as this year’s Grand Marshal.
